Hello,
what possibility do I have to find out from how many individual documents a portfolio created with
Adobe Acrobat Professional was put together.

    Try this:

    After opening the Portfolio click in the Files panel so that the default file is closed, but without opening a new one.

    Try clicking in the panel itself, not on a specific file.

    If you were able to do that then press Ctrl+J to open the JS Console and then paste this code and press Ctrl+Enter:

    this.dataObjects.length

    It should print out the number of files that are attached to the current Portfolio.

      Glad to hear it!

      This command can also be attached to a menu item, for quicker access, if it's something you need to do regularly. It would require installing a script file on the local computer, though.

      Open the portfolio in Adobe Acrobat and you can see the documents.

      Hallo Bernd,

      With this variant I would have to count 2100 lines to determine how many individual files are actually included. I don't think that's practical.
