Question

Adobe Acrobat suddenly stopped working and throws error codes

I have checked my account - it is being paid through my Credit Card. The account is active on my profile page, however, it suddenly won't open on my computer. The Adobe Reader will open but NOT the Adobe Acrobat. I need to edit a PDF and it keeps saying that I need to log into the acrobat to utilize this function. Before, after I opened a PDF file it would automatically allow me to edit it if I selected the correct prompts to indicate I wanted to do so. I am struggling now and cannot get the acrobate to function even though the account is paid up and active.

Please email me (email deleted by moderator*) how to correct this situation - it is very frustrating.

Very sorry but not everyone who peruses these messages is a good person. In general, never post personal information on a public forum.

Meanwhile for help, please check out the correct answer from Cari here:

Good luck!

What's the exact version number of the application (You can find it out by going to Help - About Adobe Acrobat)? What's your OS version?

It is throwing an error code that says: Something went wrong: A running instance of Acrobat has caused an error.

Within the past 10 minutes it has thrown 18 error codes.
