I have a user that is unable to add signatures from their Desktop version of Adobe. They are able to add signatures from the online version. On the desktop version, no signatures pop up when clicking the signatures button. Nothing happens at all.

I tried following the steps found at https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/screen-goes-black-when-adding-signature/m-p/12600460/page/2

I confirmed that the correct account is signed into

User is using a MacBookPro 17,1 on OS X (14.5)

Hi @Christopher35314367tvrk,

Following up to check if your issue is resolved or not. Let us know, and we'd be happy to assist.

I assume the user is trying to use Adobe Reader instead of Acrobat Pro. If the issue is still happening, please share more details about the workflow so we can assist you better.

I am having the same issue. MacBook Air M2.  I didn't have any issues until a couple of weeks ago, nothing else changed. I have scoured the Adobe forums and have tried everything suggested. It seems others have had this issue dating back to 2021. On the desktop version of Adobe Pro I click the pen then "Add Signature" and just get a transparent black screen. I've tried the suggestion to uninstall>reinstall, unclicked the "use Modern interface" option in Signature preference, checked my primary/secondary language preferences in the System settings and Adobe settings.
