Intertrust has released an updated version of its Doc Box plugin for Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and Acrobat Reader 5.0.

Users that require the Intertrust digital rights management system in order to open secure pdf files are encouraged to download the new plugin. This new plugin also fixes problems for people who had system or debugger conflicts with the Doc Box plugin.

NOTE: This update is not supported on Windows 95. If you are using Windows 95 and are having issues with DocBox.api, simply remove any and all instances of this plugin. You can find the plugin by doing a search for "docbox.api" on your system.

I downloaded and installed Reader 5.0 yesterday. When I try to start it, I get an "illegal operation" message with the detail "ACRORD32 caused an invalid page default in module DOCBOX.API at 0137:37030597". Any suggestions on how to get Reader started?

    >50% of the doctors scored below their class' average . . ..

Not necessarily. 50% always score below the median, but anywhere between 0.00001 and 99.99999% can score below average.

    Rosemary, baby,

Use a zipping program such as WinZip to zip your PDF files before e-mailing and you will prevent damage to them.

    Sean,

You know what they call the guy who graduated last in his medical school class?

Which accounts for why they're working at Doc(in a)Box instead of in a real
    office or hospital?

I am getting rather annoyed about people rubbishing me.

I didn't go through 7 years of medical school to have so called "experts" telling users to delete all instances of me.

I'm just like you, trying to do a job to put food on the table. You people should be ashamed of yourselves!

It means that the email application or server is screwing up the file attachment.

Because someone at another facility could not open my pdf files I was sending to him. When he tries to open it he gets a .unk file which I have no idea what that is.

Upgrade to a newer OS than Win95A . . . or at least to an OS that meets the minimum requirements of Acrobat 5.

Delete all copies of docbox.api from your hard drive.
