Intertrust has released an updated version of its Doc Box plugin for Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and Acrobat Reader 5.0.

Users that require the Intertrust digital rights management system in order to open secure pdf files are encouraged to download the new plugin. This new plugin also fixes problems for people who had system or debugger conflicts with the Doc Box plugin.

NOTE: This update is not supported on Windows 95. If you are using Windows 95 and are having issues with DocBox.api, simply remove any and all instances of this plugin. You can find the plugin by doing a search for "docbox.api" on your system.

Take your computer back to the store because you are too incompetent to operate one.

Either that or read the 5,000 other posts that give the answer.

    module DOCBOX.API at 0137:37030597.

I have completely uninstalled all versions of Reader and reinstalled 5.01. (Before and after installing the new version of Doc Box!)

    I have a 200MHz Pentium running Windows 95 and Internet Explorer 5.5.

    Now what do I do?

Do you actually think someone would read it, or comprehend it if they did?

    I doubt that would help.

I love this thread. After a few weeks, it's still going strong.

    Absolutely amazing, indeed! :)

Why don't they update the initial post to recommend deleting the docbox.api file if it still doesn't work after installing the update?

I downloaded Adobe Reader v5.0.1. Application will not load ... get error message "ACRORD32 caused invalid page fault in module DOCBOX.API.

I also download the doc box update as posted in this forum ... did not help.

Please advise on what to try next!!
    Thank you.

I would have done that earlier, but the search engine was indexing.
