Intertrust has released an updated version of its Doc Box plugin for Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and Acrobat Reader 5.0.

Users that require the Intertrust digital rights management system in order to open secure pdf files are encouraged to download the new plugin. This new plugin also fixes problems for people who had system or debugger conflicts with the Doc Box plugin.

NOTE: This update is not supported on Windows 95. If you are using Windows 95 and are having issues with DocBox.api, simply remove any and all instances of this plugin. You can find the plugin by doing a search for "docbox.api" on your system.

I'm trying to download an Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 file, and getting the DocBox.api error.

I have already downloaded DocBox.api as instructed (and installed it), and it still won't work. I have also upgraded to IE5.50 and it SAYS it's running at 128-bit encryption, and reinstalled DocBox.api again.

I'm still getting the same error, DocBox.api initiates but when it tries to load, Adobe 5.0 fails (and crashes IE in the process). I can't even get Adobe to start indendently of IE, or get it to start and read some old docs I have on my hard drive from Adobe 4.0

I'm running Win 95 on a P1-133 with 64MB. As for versions of Adobe 5.0 and DocBox, I dunno cause I can't get them to load, but they're the versions distributed on the official sites as of 9/20.

Anyone know what's wrong? I'm out of things to try.

So was Robin. But, Robin was named after a bird, not a WWII bomber. ;?)

I'm running DOS v1.1 on my Acorn Electron. I can't find DOCBOX.api anywhere. I can't make pdf files and keep getting a syntax error. What should I do?

NB Frogger and Chucky Egg appear to be unaffected by my docbox

;?) It got rid of the Docbox error I didn't have . . . pretty cool, a solution that anticipates a problem. LOL!
