Intertrust has released an updated version of its Doc Box plugin for Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and Acrobat Reader 5.0.

Users that require the Intertrust digital rights management system in order to open secure pdf files are encouraged to download the new plugin. This new plugin also fixes problems for people who had system or debugger conflicts with the Doc Box plugin.

NOTE: This update is not supported on Windows 95. If you are using Windows 95 and are having issues with DocBox.api, simply remove any and all instances of this plugin. You can find the plugin by doing a search for "docbox.api" on your system.

Why bother Chris? You'd just end up with a second topic: RE:Chris Holm's Post with 200 people asking why they can't post to the topic, and/or ranting and raving about Adobe not fixing the problem.

I have the same problem Debra Bowen describes in post #147. I get ACRORD32 invalid page fault in module DocBox.API when I try to open Acrobat Reader 5.0. The error appeares during start-up when it reaches the "Initializing DocBox.API..

W T Allen told Debra to delete all instances of DocBox.ATI in post #150.

    How do you delete DocBox.API?

    > How do you delete DocBox.API?

Use START > Find > Files to locate all files called DOCBOX.API then
delete in the normal way (right click, Delete).

Do you think we could get some sort of bot that automatically posts "Delete docbox.api" after every new post to this topic?
