Are there differences between the acrobat addon in the browser and the app in Teams?

We use the acrobat addon in the browser to start pdf's. We want to use the acrobat teams app.

Are there security differences?

We know that some data is in the Adobe cloud for 24 hrs, does that apply to both options?
