Bug: Bonkers focus leaps whie editing form field properties

During form creation, in the "properties" popup for a given field:
I edit the "Name," but when I try to switch focus (mouse click, not using "tab") from "Name" to "Tooltip," the focus leaps all the way to the next form field!

In many cases the name and tooltip are identical or at least similar, so I often copy the name with the intent to paste into the tooltip (and then possibly edit it a little). But if I blink at the wrong time, I end up pasting the previous form field's "Name" into the next form field's "Properties!"

I assume this might be detritus left over from a previous feature that let folks jump more quickly between fields, probably speeding things up nicely. But now it's pretty annoying, and I have yet to land on a workflow where it doesn't cost me a few extra clicks every time it happens, and those clicks can really add up.

Screen grabs attached: location of bonkers behavior and my (current) version of Acrobat. Thank you for your consideration.

Cheers!

Silly workaround: the "leap" doesn't seem to happen if you start with the Tooltip and paste into the name, but that feels deeply wrong.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well

Please update the application to the  recent version 24.02.20759 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3R4rYea

If it still doesn't work, please share a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue occurring and Adobe CC logs https://adobe.ly/3Kkuqty , Procmon logs (Win Only)  https://adobe.ly/3Kkurh6 for further investigation.

Typo (sorry, I can't edit): topic should say "while" not "whie"
😉
