Question

Finger Scroll Does Not Work When Drawing

Hey everyone. I have been searching for answers all day with no luck. All I want to do is be able to scroll with my finger while using a stylus to annotate WITHOUT having to click on the pan button each time.

I am on a Surface Pro running Windows 10 Pro and Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2023.001.20143 64-bit.

I believe I have found a bug. Reason I am lead to believe that is every other tool allows me to use the tool with my stylus and still scroll/zoom with 2 fingers. When I select the drawing tool, all multi touches are ignored. Treats all multitouches as a single point and just draws, like I was using my pen.

I have seen videos of this working, but it was years ago so the bug may be newer. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi David228325193pf9,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

If you use the drawing tool under the Comment tool and try to finger scroll, it will not work. It is designed behavior.

However, if this not works with other tools, let us know.

Please refer to the following help document for more information on commenting PDFs: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/commenting-pdfs.html

Let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
