Question

How to have all comments summary combined and not a separate page for each pdf page?

How do I get all my comments to compile into the minium number of pages?

I have a 75 page document. I made comments on each page summarizing important aspects. My comments would fill 1-2 pages.

But when I went to select "create comment summary" and then "comments only" what I get is 75 pages, each with about 1-2 lines with my comment and a huge blank page.

Is there a way to have all the comments together? I'd like to review them easily together and not spaced out like this. I didn't see a way to do this. Many thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, this is not possible using the built-in Comments Summary tool in Acrobat.

It is possible using a script, though, like this (paid-for) one I've created:

Thank you so much for this and for clarifying that adobe doesn't offer it (which is weird I think because if you want to read a compilation of just your notes, surely you want them all together to be able to read through and each one spread out over pages and pages of basically blank pages).

Thank you also for the link. For this project, it's short enough that I'll just view the notes next to the document itself. But when I neet have a 300+ page doc that I want to make comments on, this looks like an excellent idea.

Many thanks, you've save me a lot of time trying to find a feature they simply don't offer!
