how to reduce width of comments pane

I have just updated my adobe acrobat version. In the previous version it was possible to display full size single pages of 2 documents side by side on the monitor with the comments pane open on both of them. In the new version the comments pane is wider and makes the page display smaller. I see it is possible to enlarge the comments pane but not reduce it. Why oh why do the "updgrades" remove necessary functions?! Does anyone have a workaround to enable display of full size single pages of 2 docs with comments panes open? Thanks.

Hi @Caroline1154 

In the comments panel, there is a drag handle, you can use it to change the width of the comments panel.  Please refer the below image.

Yes I am aware of that, I need it smaller than the smallest width available with the drag handle. Is there a solution or workaround?
