New to adobe. I signed up for pro now all of a sudden all of my pdfs are protected. I don't have the password and what works to login me in is not working on document security. How do I remove permissions password if I don't have the password but I am owner of document? Very frustrating. And no 1800 number or chat support offered. I will be canceling my subscription!

It's a taboo on this forum and we can't really answer it.

You should ask your question to Google.

Have you created the PDF files?

Login passwords have no connection to document security. Each document has its own secret password, with no way to get it back if lost. Let's try and work out what's happened.

1. You say that suddenly your PDFs are protected. What are you doing when you find they are protected? For instance, are you trying to edit?

2. These are your PDFs. But did you actually make them? Since you just got Pro, how did you make them? Or, did you get them from someone else, made for you (like a bank?)

3. Please go to File > Properties and click Security - for one of these files. Post a screen shot, making sure there is no personal info, of the whole security screen.
