How to run Acrobat X Pro with Office 2021

I too run Adobe Acrobat 10  and recently upgraded to Windows 11 OS and Office 2021.  Although listed as a COM add in, the Adobe menu item is missing.  As a workaround, I created the following macro and assigned it to a button on the MS Word ribbon:

This results in a prompt asking for the location and filename you would like to use.

use office 2010 pro on windows 11. The Acrobat X plug-in should work then.

Workaround:

Print to Adobe PDF.

That's one way to look at it. When Acrobat X was released 10 years ago, there was no Office 2021. Adobe didn't break anything - they just didn't have a crystal ball. So - they had to do work. We all hate unbillable work.  Alternatively, since you like your antique software (it was pretty good) why not use it with an antique version of Office and Windows?

Downloading, somewhere, any part of a future version without a license for that version is not something I would entertain. 

Adobe have to keep doing work to keep up with Microsoft's changes - this is why we pay for upgrades. Acrobat DC is now on subscription, around $20 per month.
