How to show year in comment in adobe reader

I want to see year for comments in pdf file in adobe reader. Currently it only displays month and date. In the old version like adobe reader XI, it displays month, date and year. So I think there should be a way to do it.

I'm seeing the same thing in Reader DC. Also, I've noticed that when you just add the comment it only shows the hour, not even the date. From that I would assume that Adobe added a new "feature" that only shows the date if it's not the same as the current date, and the year if it's not the same as the current one, too. You can test it out by opening a file from 2019 with comments and checking if it shows up there. Unfortunately, I don't see a way of changing how it works.

In old versions like adobe reader XI, it can display month, date, and year. So there should be a way to do it unless adobe intentionally bans it in the free version. I am not sure about acrobat pro.

It should certainly display the year. Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

You will see the year in the properties of the comments.
