How to turn off annoying hints

With a very recent auto update of Acrobat Pro DC comes annoying pop-up hints about various features. In Preferences> General> Messages from/to Adobe, I have "Show me messages when I launch Acrobat" disabled but these hints keep popping up. How can I stop this please?
