How to use embedded font elsewhere while editing document?
I tried googling this question several different ways, and I tried searching this forum with no results.
I found hundreds of results asking HOW to embed a font, but I need to USE an embedded font. A client gave us a PDF that had an embedded font, and I needed to copy and paste the exact string from the one page to another. Acrobat refuses to paste with the embedded font, and defaults to Ariel. The only way I was able to make the change was to copy the entire text box element, and paste it onto the second page. That was able to retain the font formatting data.
The font is even ON the font selection, but greyed out at the bottom of the list.
For future reference, and the sake of anyone who has the same issue in the future, please tell me how the heck I can copy and paste WITH the embedded font, or alternatively, just USE the embedded font to make edits or changes to the existing document.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
