What do I do when I am trying to save a document in Adobe and I get the message that "This document could not be saved. A number is out of range."   WHAT does this mean, and how do I resolve this so I can save my document

I had the same problem and blessed be God, the situation could be solved in the following way

1. Open the PDF in Preview.

This means right-click on the file, choose "Open with" then "Preview."

2. Once the file is open, go to "Edit" and then "Insert" and choose to insert a blank page.

You can also choose to "delete" a page, that what I did the first time and which worked.

Then you close the file (it should save automatically). Othwerwise save and close it. Then you open the same file with the added/deleted page in Adobe and it should allow you to save again.

This is what worked for me. Hopefully for you too so it's worth a try.

It usually means there's an issue with the internal structure of the file. Did you create the file? If so, how?
