Interactive PDF button not working when I share link

I have been having an issue with an interactive PDF I created. I would like to share it to my client using Adobe Acrobat's share a link to this file option. Everything on the interactive PDF works fine when it displays through the link except the search button that I created. The button works fine in the pdf itself and when I view it through the link it seems to know it is a button since I can click on it, however when I click it does nothing. The button was setup through Acrobat using execute menu item > edit> find. Any help would be appreciated, my employer was very excited I could add this option for them but now I am worried I might not be able to get it to work. Thanks in advance.
