Hi, please help me in suppressing First popup (not welcome screen). It says "Start tour" with button on it. I would like to suppress this as I am sick of seeing it after a few years!  All of the answers I found on this community site uses terms I know nothing about!  I don't know what a boolean is!  Please just make it a simple answer for use on a Macbook!

Here is the useless answer that was given on a previous post:

Also, the first time experience can be disabled using the given steps: Lockable Settings (adobe.com)

Indeed useless, as I can't read it. But what I see is that this is for Windows. So it would not work for you.

I don't know what answers you did found, but it may help to include links to those answers or ask your question directly on their thread.

(Just the question you didn't dare to ask: a boolean is an entity with two states: true or false, or 1 and 0, so it's basically a light switch. Switch the light on or switch the light off. More technical explanation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boolean_data_type)

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
