Tried Downloading from a Website with the Latest Adobe Acrobat Reader, Message comes back we need Adobe Acrobat 8 Reader or Higher (???)

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

 

It seems like you are trying to open a dynamic PDF file; please try to download the PDF to your computer locally and try to open it with Acrobat/Reader DC application and check.

 

Also, please go through the correct answer marked in the similar discussion https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/unable-to-view-pdf-file-getting-error-need-adobe-8-or-higher/m-p/8855903#M21213 and see if that works for you.

In addition, you must save the file directly. Do not use the Save As PDF or Print to PDF commands of the browser!
