Hello,

I am trying to edit my current pdf which includes radio buttons and differnt areas that will need to be completed by different individuals. Once I save the document after editing, the radio buttons are no longer active. Any help is much appreciated.

Editing the PDF should not disable the radio buttons. Are you editing the text or the form fields?

Is this consistent behavior? Can you reproduce it or did it happen only one time?

You can also copy fields from one PDF to another as long as you are in form editing mode. If you have a backup of the file, you can copy and paste the fields from the original to the one where the radio buttons are not working.

Hi Jane,

Thank you for your response. I am only editing the text and the modifications are minimal. I have been working on this for hours and I am still having the same issue. As soon as I open the original pdf (with active radio buttons), edit and save the document in Adobe, I am not longer able to click on the radio buttons. I've watched tutotrials and still no luck. I am not an expert to Adobe Pro, so maybe it's user error. I just can't figure out what the underlying issue is.

Hi @Jasmine325942554464

I hope you're doing well, and thank you for reaching out to us.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Acrobat DC. Let's work together to resolve this.

Could you please clarify whether this problem started occurring after a recent update, or has it been an ongoing issue?

Additionally, it would be helpful to know if this problem is specific to a particular PDF file or if it affects all PDFs you're working with. Trying to open a different PDF might help us narrow down the issue.

To better understand your workflow and the specific steps you're taking, could you provide a short video recording? This would greatly assist us in diagnosing the problem accurately.

Do you receive any error messages when you attempt to use the radio buttons after editing the PDF file? Sharing the problematic PDF file with us would allow us to investigate further.

Please also confirm the version of Acrobat DC you're using. You can find this information by going to "Help" > "About Acrobat." Ensure that you have the most recent version (23.06.20320) installed. If not, you can check for updates in the "Help" menu and then restart your computer.

You can also try repairing the installation from the help menu on Windows.

Please try these steps, and let us know the results.
