Problems with combining files - Security Level Set To High

Question

I am trying to create a PDF by combining Excel and Word files.

When I try to do this, I get an error message:

I have checked Acrobat is up to date.

I have done a repair on Office.

There appears to be a lot of people asking the same question, but very little answers out there, can anyone help please?

This is happening to a few machines in our organisation.

Hi,Can you confirm the following:the exact versions of the operating system and software you are usingthe extensions of the files you are trying to combine (doc, docx, xls, xlsx,...)the steps you take to combine your files (from Acrobat, File > Create...from Windows explorer (or Finder), select several files > right-clicjk > combine files in Acrobatother method
