Replace Pages is not responding for more than 1 hour

Hello!

I bought Adobe Acrobat a few weeks ago late June 2024.

I am based in the USA.

I opened PDF file using Chrome Browser, and I need to replace the page numbers.

My initial file has no page numbers.

When I hit the Replace Pages, the program is unresponsive for more than 1 hr.

It looks like there is a bug b/c the Replace Pages is not responding for more than 1 hour.

My file has around 380 pages.

Do you whom to contact to fix the issue asap?

This is holding me up.

Thank You

This option is replace pages. I need to add page numbers.

That's not what you wrote originally. Anyway, that exists too. Use the Add Header & Footer tool.

Search for "Delete or replace pages in a PDF" on this page:

Why are you opening the file in Chrome if you paid for Acrobat? Use that, instead. The Chrome extension works via the Adobe Cloud, which means the file has to be uploaded, edited on the server, then downloaded. Acrobat does it all locally. It should not take more than a couple of seconds.

The Replace Pages is not available in Acrobat. It is only available in the cloud. Yes, I need to upload the file first to the cloud and then do replace pages.

It is. If you're not seeing it then you're using Reader, not Acrobat, or you're not looking in the right place.

It's under Tools - Organize Pages, or when you right-click a page (or pages) in the Pages pane.
