Requiring change to required fields in a PDF when document updated.

I know how to require a field in a PDF, but want to know if there is a way to require that field to be updated every time the form is updated.

You can clear it when the file is opened using a script, making it necessary for the user to fill it in again before submitting it. Is that what you mean?
