Self Signed Digital ID - Windows Certificate Store - Enable Password

Hi,

First time poster.  Cant seem to find an answer to this particular query online.

I have created a Self Signed Digital ID in Adobe Acrobat. (this is all new to me)

During setup, I choose "Windows Certificate Store" as the storage location.

This never asks for a password as part of the setup process.

When i am signing a pdf document, I am therefore never asked for a password.  I would like it to ask me for a pasword when I am signing the document. It would provide an addition security element as my place of work.

If I choose "New PKCS~12 digital ID file as the storage location during creation, I am asked to input a password during creation and when using it.

My simple question is: Can a password be set for Self Signed Digital IDs when Windows Certificate Store has been selected as the storage location.

If not, I will just use PKCS.

Brian
