Simple Wet Signature instructions versus Digital Signature

I am looking for instructions to add a very simple wet signature box to the bottom of a PDF. My goal is to have people read the PDF I created in DC on my IPAD and at the bottom without registering, creating a digital signature, switching apps or donating blood they can just swipe a finger signature on the bottom of the form to acknowledge they read it. It isn't going to court or verifying access to Fort Knox. For my purposes the digital signature process is nonsensical.

The amount of time I am spending looking for the answer to this seemingly no-brainer question is absurd.

Someone please help me...there has to be a simple way to make this work. Right?!? ...or am I going to have an aneurysm at my desk right now?

Thanks! any help is appreciated.

Hi Tarinm,

Sorry for the delay in response to your query.

What you are looking for, can be partially achieved with the help of Fill & Sign feature which come free with the Adobe Reader mobile/desktop app. End users will read the document sent by you and can add their signature on it, but that wont give you the notification that the signature has been applied.

Using Acrobat Reader DC Fill & Sign

  1. You can use the Adobe "Send & Track" feature Using Adobe Send & Track  to send the document and get the read acknowledge.
  2. Or you need to subscribe for Adobe Sign service to send the document to multiple recipient and get the signature confirmation- Adobe Sign Help | Adobe Sign Help in this case, the signers do not need to subscribe for any service they can sign it using free app.

Hope this answers your query.
