Hello,
I came upon a strange complication: the pdf document that I have got, seems to have separate background and text layers.

What I am trying to do: copy part of the page by using the snapshot function of Adobe Acrobat.

but what I get is:

So what I get is only the background of the page, without text.

Nevertheless, the text itself is recognizable; I can select and copy it from the document.
Problem: taking a snapshot and copying it, leaves me only with the background of the selected section of the page.

Hi @Man36022881c5le

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

I have tried to reproduce the issue at my end and its working fine, what is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.08.20555 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that works.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi, thanks for your reply
Yeah, this is an issue with a particular PDF file.

I understand that it is not the issue with Adobe product, but is there any solution the file itself? Can I make it "copyable".

Would be grateful for a solution)

Thanks in advance
