Text fields in Acrobat Form incorrectly displaying fonts for Reader User

Hello.

I created a form using Acrobat Pro DC.  In all text fields I have set the font as Ariel Narrow Bold and font size as "Auto".

One particular user (using Adobe Acrobat Reader continuous release Version 2024.002.20759 64-bit), when attempting to fill out the form, gets some other san-serif font in SOME of the text fields, and in those text fields the font does not automatically resize, thus they can't fit all the characters they need to within the text field.

Also, the size of the checks in the checkboxes displays differently as well.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

I ended up just saving the form as "Reader Extended - Fill and Sign" and that worked for them.

Hi @dan-pavlik

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Please ask the user to update the application to the recent version 24.02.20857. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

You may also ask the user to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that works.
