Top menu bar file names -- width issue

Is there honestly no way to set the width of the title menu bars wider — or even to fit across the top of the menu like a browser does? Here's why that's so annoying, if I have several files (this is just four open PDFs of a job with many more) and you can see it doesn't tell me the relevant details.

Even if I only have ONE file open, it still only shows me that beginning, it doesn't expand to fill the space.

Before anyone says it … yes, I know you can hover over it and it'll show the full name. That's not what I'm asking and that also significantly slows up production when there are multiples under deadline. And yes, I know you can click the box that says "always use file name as document title" which doesn't do me any good here either. File name and document title are the same thing in many cases. And I don't control how others name their PDFs throughout the company, but I still need to be able to easily see them when they get sent to me.

Specifically asking — can Adobe allow the width of those tabs to be set wider than the default shown.

PLEASE help us Adobe!!!

This has been a recurring request for several years, but developers are currently concentrating on the new interface... which doesn't solve this problem.
