unable to save files in Acrobat reader

When I choose "save as" in Acrobat reader 2024.002.20759,  I get a screen with a number of directories to save in as well as an option to choose another directory. Regardless of the option I choose, nothing happens. The file is not saved to my computer. This used to work until yesterday.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

 

Please make sure you have the recent version 24.02.2089x installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
 
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
 
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here (https://adobe.ly/45ZXNv5) and see if that works.
