Why image size is reduced while inserted into Acrobat

Hi There,I have resized an image into photoshop with the following measurments8.75×5.833 inches with 300 PPI resolution. But while I am adding this image into acrobat, object inspector is showing it's size reduced to:7.361×4.907 inches with 356.607 PPI resolution.I don't want to increase the resolution but want to keep the same size with same resolution saved from Photoshop. How to achieve this?
