Acrobat PDF Maker issue

Guest
Feb 20, 2019 Feb 20, 2019

Hello, We are using Adobe Acrobat XI Standard with MS Office 2016 on windows 10. Our users are receiving this error message: "Unable to find  Adobe PDF resource files.  Acrobat PDFMaker.  You must have Administrator priveleges to install these files. Please contact your local system administrator."  when clicking on the Adobe tab in excel and selecting Create PDF. In fact, any of those selections under the Adobe tab are throwing up the same error. Even if you click on File>Save as Adobe PDF it throws that same error that I mentioned in the beginning.  I can, however, create a PDF from word and powerpoint on the Adobe tab and the file>save as adobe PDF.

Please help

Thank you

Jason

Acrobat XI is no longer supported by Adobe. There will not be any new fixes released for it.

I still haven't found a resolution on this. Do you have any ideas?

I take it by the lack of response that we are just S.O.L., which is unfortunate because our end users are being effected by this. You would think that there would be a fix by now for Windows 10 because it's been out for 4 years.
