How can I upload RAW format photos to PS CS6

Hey guys I am trying to upload RAW Format photo to CS6 and its not opening is the updated version not capable of this ?

What is the make and model of your camera?

And what is the version of the Camera Raw plugin in Photoshop? Go to Help > About plugins > Camera raw to verify.

CS 6 is old software, and the latest (and final) Camera raw version compatible with CS 6 is 9.1.1.

If the camera requires a later version than 9.1.1, you can use the free DNG converter, that converts your raw files to DNG files that can be opened in CS 6. Adobe Digital Negative Converter
