Download timeout issue Flash Player 11

Can anyone explain how to get around this issue?

(Stalls at 7%, then message 'Download Timeout' at 47%)

I'm sorry you're encountering this.  Please try installing from the appropriate stand alone Windows installers located here:

I'm on Mac OSX 10.7.5.

Tried reinstall Flash Player, tried reinstall Flash, tried uninstall both and then reinstall again. Still get the same problem.

Still can't download Adobe. Link doesn't work. Any help is appreciated.

The link works fine; I just downloaded it, and it completed within about 2 seconds.

Something is wrong with either your browser, or your Internet connection.

Internet seems to be working fine.  Dont know what could be wrong with browser.  This mac is about 2 weeks old.  The last link still shows server timeout and the previous ones still stop at 47%.

Issue has not been resolved.  Any other ideas?

Maybe a problem with your system and the adobe servers.  Let's try this link from my dropbox folder:
