Using Mac OS 10.10.3 (latest updates installed) on a MacBook Pro retina (2014).

I've downloaded Creative Cloud and installed the software. But I tried to launch app, nothing happens. It wo n't launch. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Won't launch. Started up in Safe Mode. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Won't launch. I paid for year's worth of Lightroom and Photoshop use, but now I can't even download the software. WTF?

Whether I click the alias, or the actually executable file, I see the CC icon (greyed out) flash in the Menu Bar, then disappear. Nothing else happens after that.

After providing read and writing access for currently logged in user account name and Administrator for both ~/library and /library.

Try to launch Creative Cloud application. It should work

Also you can  try running disk utility and run repair disk permissions .

Or it will most probably get resolved on Root user account .

OS X Mavericks: Enable and disable the root user

(Applies for Yosemite as well)

How to log in as root

Use these steps in Snow Leopard and later to log in as the root user.

  1. If you are logged in, choose Log Out from the Apple menu.
  2. If you are logging in from a list of usernames with pictures, click Other.
  3. In the Name field, type: root
  4. In the Password field, type the password you defined when setting up the root user account.

Thank You.

I forgot about signing in as Root, but the permissions fix did the job for me. You did in minutes what the 24/7 Chat program couldn't do in hours. My thanks!

SLCache and SLStore folders  holds license files , when you delete the contents , it will Autocreate new files.

You need to sign in again.

Sign out and Sign in Creative Cloud .

When you launch CC Apps , if you get Trial message , in the same pop up , click on " License this Software"  option and sign in.

Is the issue regarding Lightroom launch issue or CC app launch issue?

After doing what you are getting error 16 ?

Let me elaborate in case I was hasty in my comments. I was looking around to fix the launch of LR CC 2015. Even thought LR CC was just flashing in and out all my rest of adobe products were working fine. Once i added permission to the library folder all my products stopped working. I tried all the comments on SLStore folder and Adobe PCD folder. No luck.

However when i log in as root user all my applications are working. But that won't help. Please please help.
