Hi All,

Is it possible to de-blur the license plate of this white van?

I captured a few frames...

About the best that Photoshop has is under Filter > Sharpen > Shake Reduction. You'll get some improvement but don't expect miracles. Blurring is one of the most difficult things to deal with.

Not from those images.

Photoshop can improve contrast, giving the impression of sharpness, but cannot create pixel information that is not captured and recorded in the image. Put simply, there is insufficient information (separate pixels) in those images to deblur.

This is a regular request on the forum and rarely is it succesful. The TV crime drama's give the wrong impression.

The pixels constituting the number plate don't even make up 2% of the overall image. There's simply no usable information there. As the others said, this isn't "CSI" on TV where sharp pixels seem to appear out of nowhere. No dice.
