Adobe Acrobat NFP - special price being billed monthly, not annually

Community Beginner ,

I work for a NFP charity in Australia and was pleased to read https://www.adobe.com/au/nonprofits/acrobat.html which says "Work more efficiently with Adobe Acrobat Pro, now available to eligible non-profits at a special price — A$21.99/yr incl. GST."

I completed the NFP eligibility process with Goodstack and was able to purchase 3 x NFP licences at A$21.99/year incl. GST however the Adobe Billing system kept billing me 3 x AU$21 EACH MONTH.

I explained to 3 Adobe Support agents that this was an annual fee as per https://www.adobe.com/au/nonprofits/acrobat.html but they were unable to change the billing to annual. In the end I just had to cancel the purchases.

There seems a disconnect between Goodstack and Adobe. Has anyone had this issue and how did you resolve please?

Thanks - I have sepnt sometime with Adobe Customer Support and it appears that there is only 2 options for NFPs:

  1.  Have your staff individually apply to Goodstart as being a charity and paying individually to get the AU$21.99 a year discounted licence
  2.  If you want to manage staff licences centrally, you need an Adobe Business account and need to pay AU$28.99 a month

Very disappointing that Adobe do not provide NFPs a way to manage staff discounted licences. I think Adobe should update this page https://www.adobe.com/au/nonprofits/acrobat.html to change

"now available to eligible non-profits at a special price — A$21.99/yr incl. GST"

to

"now available to eligible individual staff members of non-profits at a special price — A$21.99/yr incl. GST;  up to 10 staff members may apply individually"

Not too sure how I can request that web page change but I think it would make it clearer for NFPs.

Hope this helps others on this journey.

Struggling with the very same issue. Hard to give up on the discounts but it becomes very difficult to track. I am trying to find out if there is anyone at Adobe NonProfits who can generate a list of IDs who have this Goodstack discount; my fault for not tracking better but now I'm trying to account for the charge and I have no idea whose is whose...  Anyone else have this issue?

TIA

Hi,

Yes - the trick is to ask individual staff to register with their individual Adobe account, then ask them to send you the receipt with Product Order Number so that you can keep a track of which staff are using the NFP entitlement. Quite messy.

I would be interested to hear if Adobe NFP or Goodstack is able to generate a list upon request. Can you keep us posted please?

-Melanie
