Years ago we had a need to add accounts for Adobe Acrobat through websales and telesales - six accounts being charged $29.99 per month and one at $14.99 per month. These acounts were for people that are long-gone and were registered with personal email addresses. I need these charges to stop. How can I remove? Adobe phone support says I must have an email address and my credit card company (AmEx) says that Adobe has to deal with it. Please help. Thank you.
Thomas, sorry you are unable to cancel your Acrobat subscriptions. There are no active memberships under the e-mail address you used to post to this public discussion forum. For assistance locating the account with the active subscriptions, please click on https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen to begin a private and secure chat session with a member of our support team. Be prepared with any alternative contact information that would have been used to purchase the Acrobat subscription.
are/were these a teams or enterprise subscription?

You may have been paying, but the accounts belong to those people, not to you

You generously used a business credit card for someone's entirely personal account. Unless that person cancels it, it keeps going. You have no rights over other people's account at all, and you don't gain them just because you chose to lend your card details. This is why there are team licenses.
