This is a rant. I understand this wall fall on deaf ears, and that Adobe is a large and soulless organization in 2024. I also understand that there is nobody on their end that cares about improving products for the end user in mind.
The account logout issues of Adobe have become a feature of its products that, to me, aren't just unethical, but a demonstration of their lack of care or sensibilities. Multiple times in the last few months my products have been forcibly logged out while I am in the middle of using them. The reason isn't because people have hacked my account or because I'm "simultaenously" using too many programs at the same time. It's because of my workflow. I—stupidly—use Adobe's awful Illustrator app on iPad to quickly vector art made in ProCreate so I can quickly open on my computer. When I do this, Adobe is quick to recognize that I have three devices signed in—my laptop (not in use), my computer, and my iPad. Yesterday as I was vectoring on my iPad, I came back to my computer to open the file only to discover that Photoshop and Illustrator had forcibly quit the applications, asking me if I wanted to save my work on all the files that were open. The answer is that I did not want to save them, but I also was not ready to close them, either.
At this point I have no understanding remaining for Adobe. To know that this company wants to use our work to train their awful AI features in these programs is proof enough that they hate creatives and this field in general. I know that nobody over there can, or is willing to, address the terrible products that they have. But if Adobe doesn't even understand how we use their products in our workflows, and punishes us for using their products in typical workflows, then this is no longer a software company, it's a racket.

something's not working correctly.
on my computers, if i'm signed into 2 computers/devices and open an adobe app on a third, i am prompted on that third computer to sign out on my choice of the other two. ie, you may want to reset your desktop apps.
