Adobe Trials are a Scam. Lock you into 12 month subscriptions that you never ordered.

Whatever you do, dont try an Adobe Trials thinking you can use the sofwtare for a month or 2. They lock you into 12 month subscriptions for products that you never ordered.

That's not entirely accurate.   In the interest of fairness and transparency, these are the facts:

 

1. A free trial lasts 7 days after which it reverts to a paid subscription plan. 

 

2. You have 14 days to cancel without penalty.

 

3. Log-in to your account below 24/7. Click on Manage Plans > Cancel.

Good advice, to actually read the terms you are agreeing to. Subscription lock-ins are common, when you choose the cheaper plans especially.

4. The remaining plans are annual (prepaid or paid monthly).  Annual means there's a 12 month commitment and your rate is guaranteed to stay the same for the year.  But if you cancel early, you incur a 50% early termination fee.  To avoid penalty fees, wait until your 12th month of service to cancel.

 

Be an informed consumer and choose your plan wisely.  If you can't understand the terms of service, ask your parent, guardian or teacher to help you.
