After 7 days the trial subscription is automatically migrated to a paid plan. It seems the charge system did not register your cancellation properly and made the charge. Here is what you should to do

  • Make sure that the cancellation did go through properly. Check the status on your account page. Make sure your did some confirmation about it from Adobe, a confirmation email? Keep the proof handy
  • If you see that the cancellation did not go through and you don't have a confirmation message then you need to cancel it again. This is time critical process, cancellation done within 14 days are eligible for refunds. If you are not able to cancel it yourself due to any reason just contact support and ask them to cancel it, verify this again by making a screenshot of the chat and confirmation email
  • If the cancellation was done and you have the confirmation email then you will get the refund. It's processed automatically and should be done by a week or two. If this time window has gone by then contact support to enquire about the status of the refund

To contact support follow the instructions given below
1. Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
2. Wait a bit on the page that opens up, it should automatically open a chat popup. If that does not happen then look for a call out/chat icon at the bottom right, click over it and the chat popup should open
3. In order to talk to a human type "AGENT" in the chat box
4. If you are not able to get to the chat window, then disable your adblockers, firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.
