I'm not even sure how to ask this, or how to search for an answer, so maybe someone here can help me.
I recently added Premier Pro to my Photoshop subscription, but soon discovered that I should have gotten After Effects instead. Adobe won't allow me to cancel the Pp subscription because it's under an annual plan.
Is there a way to switch from Pp to Ae, since they are the exact same price?
Thanks!

Most video makers need BOTH apps. After Effects is absolutely unsuitable for making the final product for delivery to the user.

PS since you may need 3 apps, what you might want to switch to is the All Apps plan, which will cost the same as Photoshop+Premiere Pro+After Effects. This will give you around 20 more apps for free that you might sometimes find handy (or not, but it doesn't get cheaper...)
