So I'm brand new to using lightroom and made an account on my microsoft account. I got the Lightroom 1TB. The best one there was. Then I went to my friends house and he was showing me how to edit on Lightroom Classic. So I rolled home and went to download Lightroom Classic and it wouldn't let me. Said I don't have that subscription. No problem right, I'll just upgrade my subscription, wrong. It isn't available through microsoft. So i contacted microsoft and they cancelled my subscription and issued a full refund. Now, multiple days later, I still can't subscribe to lightroom classic. The system still shows my Microsoft subscription as active. I have a Lightroom account full of photos and don't want to use a different email. This is a really bad bug in the system and the chat people aren't helpful at all. They keep saying it's microsoft but microsoft keeps sending me back to adobe saying they can't do anything else

Try removing your old subscription before installing a new one

this doesn't work. Just confirms that this is in fact a bug. A new user to a program is being asked to open command prompt programs to troubleshoot a subscription inaccuracy
