Cancel monthly charged subscription

Please help me out there!

I bought the monthly subscription of Photoshop and Lightroom. And it's 26th december and I want to cancel my subscription, but then I must pay a charge about $78 dollars if I cancel 14 days before getting charged. 

But can I cancel my subscription after I paid the next charge in January 1th, 2020 withtin 14 days? 

Because they say you have to cancel your subscription 14 days after your purchase / charge. So I might do that, but will they still require a charge of $78 dollars from me?

Please help me, ASAP!
