@sandie_5955 not knowing if you cancelled your trial version or the paid subscription—as not enough information was given, it also depends on when the plan expired too. It's certainly frustrating to be charged after you've cancelled a subscription, and I understand why you're concerned. There are a few common reasons this can happen, first, it's important to clarify whether you cancelled a free trial or an ongoing paid subscription, as the terms and billing cycles can differ. Often, if a cancellation occurs very close to a billing date, the charge might have already been processed before the cancellation fully registered in their system. This can sometimes be due to slight differences in time zones between your location and the service provider's billing department, meaning a cancellation made on your due date might appear late on their servers. Additionally, some subscriptions require cancellation a certain number of days before the next billing cycle begins to avoid being charged for the upcoming period.

After you complete the cancellation process through your Adobe account, you should receive an email confirming that your subscription has been cancelled. This email will usually state the date of cancellation, the subscription plan that was cancelled, and when your access to the paid features will end. Or you might be given a confirmation number or transaction ID right on the screen. It's a good idea to screenshot this page if you see it, in addition to looking for the email.

If you go to your adobe.com account, under "Plans" or "Manage Plan") should update to reflect the cancellation status. It might show the plan as "Cancelled" or indicate the end date of your service. This can also serve as proof as well.

Double check your email (including spam/junk folders) and your Adobe account history for this confirmation.

Hope this  helps

Hi there,

We appreciate you reaching out. As per your account details, you cancelled AI Assistant for Acrobat, however Adobe Acrobat Pro was still active which is why you were getting charged.
I can confirm that the subscription is now cancelled and will continue till August 25, 2025. There will be no transaction post that.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.
