cancelling AdobePro trial

New Here ,
Jul 11, 2024 Jul 11, 2024

hi all,

I have been using the 20GB photography plan for some time, today I wanted to try AdobePro PLAN, so I chose the trial version - I checked how it works and decided that it was not yet the right time for such a service. When I tried to cancel the plan, information appeared about which elements would be deleted, including information that my Adobe Portfolio website would be deactivated. will this actually happen? in my basic photography plan - which I want to keep - I have access to AdobePortfolio. Can any of you tell me what will happen? I don't want to lose my website 🙂

Thanks in advance

you can't start a second trial and you can't start one with a subscription.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
