Cancelling Creative Cloud Pro and my Lightroom photos

Community Beginner ,

My Creative Cloud Pro plan is about to expire and I no longer want to continue using it, but I do want to keep using Lightroom on my iPhone. An Adobe chat agent just told me that I cannot cancel Creative Cloud Pro without losing access to all my photos in Lightroom (imo, it seemed he was just keen on selling me a different plan and was not invested in my concern). I've used Lightroom for years free of charge before I signed up for Creative Cloud Pro. Is there a way to revert to the free Lightroom version before canceling Creative Cloud Pro? Or is that agent wrong to begin with?

you'll lose cc storage space, but otherwise you can cancel.  and you can/should download the files you want by

using a web browser to navigate to the following locations. at each location there are several folders/link to check.:

https://assets.adobe.com

https://lightroom.adobe.com

https://documentcloud.adobe.com

https://spark.adobe.com

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

if you're unable to follow the steps described, check your account (https://account.adobe.com) for a payment problem. all payment problems must be resolved before cancellation is enabled, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

Thank you so much for the clarification and the links. The agent(s) I spoke to were official Adobe chat agents, and clearly grossly incompetent. Will start downloading and then cancel my subsciption.

Thank you thank you!
