I want to change the email in my Adobe acount, (actualize). I want to use the email which I use for two years in my different places. The Adobe system is telling me that this email alredy exist and I can't use it. WTF

I finally got this problem solvedby the support this morning.
In fact, I did have another account which was using the email adress I was trying to use. (which I didn't know...)
How did this happen? I have absolute no clue.
I guess it happened some time ago, before I got the paid subscription, while I signed-in through Google, without having created myself an real account.
It seems that when you do this, it does create an Adobe account with the Gmail adress associated, even if there is no

If you used the email on a different account, and then deleted that account, you won't be able to use the email address on another account. An email address can't be reused.

Hey Kris,
I've got the same problem here.
None of them solutions actually work out, I'm totally unable to use the adress I want as a primary adress.(they say it's used already, but it is not).
Have you found how to solve this case yet?

if it's in use, even an forgotten account, you can't reuse it. if you can sign into the account that uses it, you can fix the problem.

It is not in use, I've got only one Adobe account.
I might have figured out something : apparently, we can't use an email adresse which is spelled the same way that your name's profile.
Is that right?

did you contact adobe support and see if they can find the id associated with the email?
