Signed up for Adobe to try out the conversion tools before creating a corporate account. It was very disappointing to find out that my card was charged immediately, despite the website explicitly stating a 7-day free trial. Very misleading by the company.

adobe may have detected a previous trial from someone with the same user id. ie, you can only have one trial.

Thank you for reaching out.
Upon reviewing your account, we can confirm that the Acrobat plan associated with the Adobe ID used to post this query has already been canceled. Additionally, we do not see any completed transactions linked to this account.
The amount you’re seeing is likely an authorization hold, not a completed transaction. This hold should be released automatically.
Since your plan has been canceled, the authorization hold should be released shortly. However, if the amount is still deducted or not released after a reasonable period, we recommend contacting your bank directly to dispute the charge.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.
Regards,
^AN

Hi artistic_dare3010,
We're here to help you. The Acrobat subscription that you had purchased is now cancelled. In case you have used the Adobe trial before, you don't get the option to use the trial again.
Let us know if there is anything else you need help with.
Thanks
^KS

You did not answer my question at all?? Yes the plan has already been cancelled. I cancelled it the moment I saw that adobe processed the completed charge despite explicitly saying that no charges is due till the end of the 7 days free. I have not used abode trial before.

your account doesn't show a refund is in progress. and, as mentioned, if a previous free trial is detected, you won't get a 2nd free trial and will be charged immediately.
why one was detected when you say you never had a trial, i don't know.
